UrMates Pilot

What if getting out and doing the things you enjoy could be easier, more social and more affordable?
UrMates is a new pilot program from Includa, bringing people with similar interests and support needs together so they can share support while doing things they enjoy.
Whether it’s heading to a Pokémon trade show, going to the movies, exploring a new café, doing the grocery shopping or getting out into the community, UrMates is about finding people who enjoy similar things and making it easier to do them together.
Why UrMates?
Changes to NDIS funding mean many people are having to think differently about how they use their support budgets.
UrMates is exploring a different approach.
By connecting people with similar interests and support needs, participants may be able to share a support worker while enjoying activities together.
It’s about making the most of your support while creating opportunities for connection, friendship and getting involved in the community.
The UrMates pilot is open to NDIS participants across:
- Newcastle
- Lake Macquarie
- The Hunter
To participate in the pilot, you must currently be supported by Includa.
