Participant-led NDIS training in Newcastle, the Hunter and Central Coast
Good support depends on shared understanding.
UrTraining is Includa’s participant-led approach to learning and development for support workers. It helps workers understand how to provide support in ways that are respectful, safe, and meaningful.
Co-designed with you and people who know you best, UrTraining focuses on communication, dignity, confidence, trust, and real relationships.
What UrTraining is
UrTraining gives you the opportunity to shape how your support workers learn.
Learning modules:
reflect real situations and everyday support
focus on relationships as well as skills
help workers understand how to support well, not just follow the rules
The goal is better understanding, stronger relationships, and better support.
Participant-led learning in practice
Participants can help shape training content, including videos and insights based on lived experience.
Training may include facilitated learning sessions and learning modules supported through a secure learning system where:
modules are assigned to workers
completion is tracked
understanding can be checked
participants can see when learning is completed
What makes UrTraining different
UrTraining treats learning as part of the support relationship itself. It supports:
learning grounded in real life
participant voice in worker development
shared confidence and understanding
safer, more respectful support relationships
It treats learning as part of the relationship, not something separate from it.
Who UrTraining is for
want workers to better understand how you like to be supported
value learning that reflects real life and lived experience
want greater confidence that training leads to better day-to-day support
It is also valuable for families and workers who want to learn directly from lived experience.
Learning shaped by lived experience. Support built on understanding.
